As an IT Support Specialist, your role involves providing onsite end-user support, managing office infrastructure and assets, and supporting various projects. Your key responsibilities include: - End-User Support: - Providing onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals (Windows, macOS, Linux). - Provisioning, deploying, replacing, and decommissioning IT equipment. - Troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, and user-related issues. - Coordinating escalations with Level 2 support teams. - Office Infrastructure Support: - Supporting office IT services such as network connectivity, printing, voice, AV, and workplace technologies. - Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting switches, routers, access points, and related infrastructure equipment. - Assisting with smart office solutions, digital signage, and conference room technologies. - Coordinating with vendors and supporting scheduled maintenance activities. - Asset Management: - Receiving, registering, labeling, imaging, deploying, tracking, and maintaining IT assets. - Conducting inventory audits and maintaining accurate asset records. - Coordinating warranty repairs, device redeployment, disposal, and stock management. - Ensuring compliance with asset management policies and audit requirements. - Project & Site Support: - Supporting office moves, hardware refreshes, equipment relocations, and infrastructure projects. - Assisting with business events, demonstrations, and technology deployments. - Providing remote hands support and escorting third-party vendors when required. Required Skills: - Experience supporting Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices, printers, and office IT infrastructure. - Basic networking knowledge (LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, access points). - Experience with hardware asset management and inventory control. - Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and coordinate with remote support teams and vendors.
