As a Freelance Dispatch Support, your responsibilities include: - Cleaning tools testing, reporting, and installing cables or optics for new circuits such as physical cabling, cable management, northbound cabling (Fiber/Copper/Power). - Supporting network and server teams with tasks like rack and stack, running cables, planned/predictive maintenance, or circuit migration support. - Performing labelling, patching, and asset tagging activities, and carrying out installations either physically or through the network medium. - Following specific task instructions, providing necessary reporting, and offering support through phone, remote tools, or in person onsite. - Conducting failure analysis, functional testing of the entire system, identifying failed components, and assisting with planned maintenance or circuit migration support. - Reseating or swapping new line cards, and making, crimping, and testing RJ45 Copper Cables. In addition, your technical experience should include: - Hands-on experience in installing and troubleshooting infrastructure equipment in Data Centers and Networks, including rack and stack of equipment/cables. - Understanding of infrastructure hardware architecture in Data Centers and Networks to support troubleshooting procedures shared by L3 teams. - Knowledge of Nokia, Ciena Hardware, ILA Hut jobsites, and IT principles like networks and hardware. - Experience in Fiber/Data/Copper cable installation and maintenance, including working with MPO fibers. - Hands-on experience in IMAC and break-fix activities related to infrastructure environments. - Ability to identify defective spares and replace them with provided good spares based on instructions and physical observations. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience in: - Data Center Network tasks such as Fibre, Splicing, Patching, and Troubleshooting using tools like OTDR, Fibre Connector. - Hardware tasks including Access Point, Rack and Stacking, Cable Management, MDF Survey, NGO migration, and Wifi Survey.
