About the role
Role Overview: You will be working as an experienced L2 Routing Switching Engineer at Navi Mumbai, responsible for supporting and managing enterprise-grade network infrastructure for Data Centres and Branch Networks in a BFSI environment. Your role will involve advanced troubleshooting, configuration, and operational support across multiple network technologies and OEM platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Provide L2-level support for Routing Switching issues in a 247 operational environment. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents within defined SLAs. - Handle Data Centre and Branch network operations, including escalations from L1 teams. - Perform configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of SD-WAN, MPLS, IPSEC VPN, and ACI-based environments. - Work on Cisco Nexus platforms for Data Centre switching. - Support and troubleshoot network devices from Cisco and Juniper OEMs. - Perform change implementation activities (CRQs) including planned changes, emergency changes, and post-change validation. - Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and prepare technical reports. - Coordinate with OEM TAC, service providers, and internal stakeholders during major incidents. - Ensure compliance with BFSI security, audit, and operational guidelines. - Maintain network documentation, SOPs, and runbooks. Qualification Required: - Strong hands-on experience in TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP. - Experience with SD-WAN, ACI, MPLS, IPSEC VPN. - Familiarity with Data Centre Technologies such as Cisco Nexus switching. - Expertise in Cisco and Juniper OEMs. Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.
