B2B IT Engineer

Softthink Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented B2B IT Engineer to join our team in Herndon, VA to support our client project.

Consult with Internal technology team to configure and maintain Synchrony and Connect Direct( NDM) file transfer solutions

Collaborate with the groups when necessary to troubleshoot issues.

Coordinate with External partners to establish B2B File transfer. External Partners consists of major financial institutions, lenders, vendors, credit bureaus, etc.

Documentation of requirements, connection configurations, test plans, etc.

Provide on call operation support (via Pager). Analyze and provide problem solutions for complex technical issues. Identify potential improvements to increase the reliability, availability, supportability, and performance of the file transfer infrastructure.

Provide technical support to junior team members

Strong written , verbal , analytical and organizational skills

Work with different shells, maintaining and creating UNIX shell scripts.

Experience with file transfer( MFT ) security and protocol such as AS2 and SFTP

Ability to multitask and provide expertise for multiple teams across concurrent project tasks

Work experience with Connect Direct and Synchrony Gateway Interchange

Troubleshoot servers , load balancers , firewalls and other experience with proxy servers and web dmv components

At our company and at our client’s company, a B2B IT Engineer requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
