About the role

As a Cabin Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing operator cabins and related structures for heavy equipment, construction machinery, agricultural equipment, or industrial vehicles. Your expertise in Creo, 3D modeling, detailing, and BOM preparation will play a crucial role in creating detailed models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to industry standards will ensure the successful implementation of design improvements and product enhancements. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop operator cabins and related structures for heavy equipment and industrial machinery. - Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using Creo. - Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering documentation. - Develop manufacturing and fabrication drawings in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design improvements. - Support prototype development, testing, validation, and product enhancement activities. - Ensure designs comply with quality, safety, ergonomics, and regulatory requirements. - Conduct design reviews and implement engineering change requests as required. - Resolve design-related issues and provide technical support throughout the product development lifecycle. Qualifications Required: - Strong experience in Cabin Design and Mechanical Design Engineering. - Proficiency in Creo for 3D modeling, assembly creation, and drafting. - Hands-on experience in BOM preparation and manufacturing drawings. - Good understanding of sheet metal design, weldments, and fabrication processes. - Knowledge of GD&T, engineering standards, and design best practices. - Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. In addition, the preferred industry experience for this role includes Construction Equipment, Heavy Machinery, Agricultural Equipment, Off-Highway Vehicles, and Industrial Equipment Manufacturing.
