Role: Senior Cohesity Backup Engineer Experience: 10+ Years (5+ Years in Cohesity) Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Shift: 24x7 Rotational Support (Including Weekend On-Call) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Cohesity Backup Engineer with over 10 years of IT infrastructure experience and at least 5 years of hands-on expertise in Cohesity Data Management solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise backup and recovery environments while ensuring high availability, data protection, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities - Manage end-to-end Cohesity backup and restore operations, including installation, configuration, administration, upgrades, patching, and ongoing maintenance. - Design, implement, and support enterprise-wide backup, recovery, and data protection strategies. - Perform complex backup and recovery operations, ensuring adherence to RPO/RTO requirements and business continuity objectives. - Monitor backup infrastructure performance, capacity, and health, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues. - Troubleshoot and resolve advanced Cohesity-related incidents, performance bottlenecks, and data recovery challenges. - Execute disaster recovery testing, backup validation, and recovery drills to ensure data integrity and recoverability. - Collaborate with infrastructure, storage, virtualization, cloud, and application teams to support backup requirements across the enterprise. - Support Cohesity integrations with enterprise technologies, including VMware, Hyper-V, Windows/Linux platforms, databases, NAS environments, and cloud platforms. - Participate in backup infrastructure planning, upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives. - Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical knowledge articles. - Provide ongoing operational support, technical consultation, and guidance to .
