Interaction Designer

UI Designer:

• Design user interfaces that align to design guidelines and evolve our design system

• Effectively and efficiently produce designs in Sketch and Figma

• Digital Graphic Design skills shown in portfolio

Personality – Energetic, able to flex with team needs, strong collaborator, proactively asks for feedback on work.

• Collaborate closely with team members and cross-functional teams to craft a world-class user experience across all our products and platforms

• Balance customer needs, technical constraints, and business objectives to solve problems effectively

• Design user interfaces that align to design guidelines and evolve our design system

• Release production graphics to development teams

• Present work to peers and leadership

• Develop talent and share skills within the team

• Deliverables will include sketches, storyboards, presentations, prototypes, icons, illustrations, and high-fidelity designs

• 2+ years' experience creating digital interfaces for web, mobile, or in-vehicle interfaces

• Formal training or degree in visual design or related discipline

• A successful track record for bringing digital products to market

• Ability to exercise restraint in a design

• Open to feedback, knows how to give and receive criticism, and how and when to defend design decisions

• Strong collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams

• Proficient in common design tools like Sketch, Figma or Adobe XD and expertise using symbols are must.

• The candidate must provide a strong portfolio with work samples showcasing UI expertise, interaction, design, creativity, and depth of thought

Preferred Qualifications

• • Prototyping and user testing experience

• • Understanding of technology and the product development lifecycle

• • Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills

• • Proficient in Zeplin and ability to create animations is plus
