About the role
JOB RESPONSIBILITY Validate and test microservices-based applications using API testing tools.Conduct comprehensive testing of Postgres databases to ensure data accuracy and performance.Collaborate with Tech Leads, Product Managers, and QA teams to deliver production-ready software solutions.Lead code reviews and enforce adherence to testing standards and best practices.Enhance testing frameworks and automation scripts for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).Monitor application performance and recommend optimizations for scalability and efficiency.Stay updated with emerging testing trends and implement improvements within the engineering team. QUALIFICATION B.Tech or M.Tech EXPERIENCE 6+ years experience in Postgres and API testing. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of Postgres and API testing methodologies.Proficiency in automation tools like Postman or SoapUI for testing APIs.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.Exposure to microservices architecture and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Core Competencies Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to deliver under minimal supervision and take ownership of test modules.Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills in cross-functional Agile teams. Good to Have Certifications in relevant areas, such as AWS or database management.Experience with data visualization and analysis tools.
