Group Company: SMIT Designation: Lead - Product Management (Vehicle Access Handles) Office Location: Position description: RFQ Analysis|Design Analysis and Validation with Customer|Process design and validations|Product trials and Testing|VAVE Improvement in existing product and ECRN changes Primary Responsibilities: Conduct detailed RFQ prefeasibility analysis and BOM preparation for product Study the customer drawings and prepare data points required for analysis such as Product feasibility checkpoint and Qplan Prepare Bill of materials product specifications JD and finding exclusive child part list in the DWG or Alternate selection Check the feasibility and implementation of required ECRN post discussion of open issues sheet with Customer and Marketing teams Conduct detailed exercises for parts designing benchmarking and seek customer approval for the same Prepare verify and validate the product specification and standards and prepare business presentation for approval from the customer end Conduct Preliminary process flow design control plan design and component development as per requirement Prepare APQP schedule and critical timelines along with process feasibility assessment and preparation of process sheet Methodize Root cause analysis and prepare counter measure as a part of risk assessment Conduct Product trials testing and validation and create necessary documentation for submission to customer for approvals Coordinate among customer stakeholders and internal marketing production and engineering teams to clear sample and trial runs Conduct Drawing study addition or deletion of requirements costing impact calculations due to proposed changes and chalk out a feasibility and implementation plan of required ECRN Compare old DWG with new DWG and find out the open issue related to manufacturing Draft the VA or VE proposal detailed presentation submission and meeting with customer for approval Discuss the open issue sheet with Customer and ADD or DEL impact with Marketing and then executing the desired changes Additional Responsibilities: Reporting Team Reporting Designation: Reporting Department: Educational qualifications preferred Category: Master's Degree Field specialization: Mechanical Engineering Degree: Master of Technology - MTech Academic score: Institution tier: Required Certification/s: Required Training/s: Required work experience Industry: Automotive|Manufacturing|Auto ancillary Role: Years of experience: Key Performance Indicators: Required Competencies: Required Knowledge: Required Skills: Required abilities Physical: Other: Work Environment Details: Specific requirements Travel: Vehicle: Work Permit: Other details Pay Rate: Contract Types: Time Constraints: Compliance Related: Union Affiliation: Disclaimer : This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
