Role Description This is a part time remote role for an Apache Airflow Python professional. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines using Apache Airflow, as well as writing clean, efficient Python code to support ETL workflows and integrations. The person in this role will monitor and optimize workflow performance, troubleshoot pipeline issues, and ensure reliability and scalability of data processes. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with other developers and stakeholders to understand data requirements, documenting workflows and code, and contributing to best practices for data engineering and automation. Qualifications - Strong skills in Python programming and experience building production-grade scripts and applications. - Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow, including DAG design, scheduling, monitoring, and optimization. - Knowledge of ETL concepts, data pipelines, and working with APIs, databases, and file-based data sources. - Understanding of SQL and relational databases; familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS, GCP, or Azure) is beneficial. - Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. - Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours effectively, and communicate clearly with distributed teams. - Bachelors .
