About the role
Your Capabilities and Credentials Working knowledge of field survey methods and calculations. Working knowledge of local survey laws, rules, and regulations. Developing understanding of field instrumentation, GPS, and robotic total stations. Good cooperative skills in working efficiently with a team. Good math skills, including algebra and trigonometry. Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. While this will be a primarily Austin, TX based position, a willingness to travel for a week or two at the most at a time would be preferred. Education and Experience Associate's degree or technical school preferred but not required. 1-3 years of related work experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Position will primarily work in afield setting. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
