Title: Data Engineer
Location:- Seattle WA
Position Type:- Contract
Data Engineer role:
8+ years of experience working in ETL technologies preferably Informatica
Strong experience (4+ years) in Amazon Glue and Amazon Kinesis
Prior experience in migration of Informatica ETL to amazon Glue
Proven experience as a BI Developer with Tableau, Microstrategy (at least 1 project in each)
Working experience with Amazon Quicksight and Plotly
Migration of BI from Tableau to Quicksight
Experience with Plotly is highly desirable.
Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI)

Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
Masters in Computer Science, Engineering
