SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Application Engineer

Location: Argentina

We are seeking an experienced SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Application Engineer to join a global ERP team responsible for supporting, enhancing, and maintaining SAP Sales & Distribution solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality SAP solutions while ensuring the stability and continuous improvement of business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

Provide application support for SAP SD solutions in production environments.

Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues while meeting service level objectives.

Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and identify business needs.

Analyze existing system capabilities and recommend functional solutions.

Configure SAP SD modules to support business processes and resolve application issues.

Collaborate with development teams to design, develop, and implement custom SAP solutions.

Participate in system testing, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.

Coordinate and support deployments to production environments.

Provide user support and knowledge transfer when required.

Contribute to process improvements through automation and continuous enhancement initiatives.

Mentor junior team members and share functional expertise when appropriate.

Required Qualifications

Experience supporting or implementing SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA within the Sales & Distribution (SD) module.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP SD configuration.

Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise SAP applications.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Customer-focused mindset with strong collaboration skills.

Self-motivated and able to work effectively in Agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ABAP debugging or code analysis.

• Exposure to SAP Security , SAP Integration , or automation tools.

• Experience working within Agile or Scrum environments.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and SAP application lifecycle management.
