QA Tester (BI / ETL Testing)

We are currently hiring for the position of QA Tester (BI/ETL Testing) for our Pune office. (Selenium , Automation is primary) Position Details Experience: 37 Years Location: Pune (Baner) – Work From Office Department: QA / Delivery Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for BI applications, including data warehouses, ETL pipelines, reports, and dashboards. Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of BI solutions. Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source systems, staging areas, and target databases. Test ETL processes to ensure data is correctly extracted, transformed, and loaded according to business requirements. Write SQL queries to validate data transformations and reconcile source-to-target data. Verify data quality metrics, calculations, aggregations, and business logic in reports and dashboards. Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Developers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and validation criteria. Maintain test documentation, test results, compliance reports, and test summary reports. Required Skills: 3-6 years of experience in QA Testing, ETL Testing, BI Testing, or Data Warehouse Testing. Strong proficiency in SQL and Database Testing. Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, Apache Airflow, or similar technologies. Proven expertise in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Validation. Familiarity with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or QlikView. Experience with test management tools like Jira, HP ALM, TestRail, or Azure DevOps. Good understanding of Data Warehouse concepts, including Fact Tables, Dimension Tables, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD). Exposure to Git or SVN will be an added advantage.
