Role: IT Infrastructure Server Admin

Location: Tijuana, Mexico

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server and Linux environments (installation, configuration, patching, performance tuning)

• Manage and support SAP Business One (SAP B1) infrastructure, including underlying OS, database hosting, and system performance

• Execute cloud migration activities from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure (VMs, storage, networking)

• Provision and maintain Azure IaaS resources, including virtual machines, disks, backup, and monitoring

• Perform system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management across Windows and Linux platforms

• Maintain Active Directory / Entra ID integration, identity services, and access controls

• Monitor system health, performance, and availability using standard monitoring tools

• Support backup, disaster recovery, and high availability configurations

• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across compute, storage, OS, and application layers

• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs

• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to resolve incidents and support projects

• Assist in automation efforts (PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI) to improve operational efficiency

• Support SAP B1 migrations and upgrades, including coordination with vendors/partners

• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response

• Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on expertise in:

• Windows Server (AD, DNS, Group Policy, patching)

• Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, or similar)

• Experience with:

• Microsoft Azure (VMs, storage, networking, backup)

• SAP Business One infrastructure support

• Familiarity with:

• Virtualization platforms (Hyper-V or VMware)

• Backup and recovery solutions

• Monitoring and alerting tools

• Basic scripting skills:

• PowerShell, Bash, or Azure CLI

• Understanding of:

• Networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs)

• Security best practices and access control

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Solid documentation and communication skills

• Must be Bi-Lingual, English and Spanish
