Director – Low Code/No Code (Citizen Development Engineering) Role Purpos eThe Director for Low Code/No Code (LCNC) Citizen Development Engineering will be responsible for defining and executing the global strategy for low-code/no-code application development within AI. This role focuses on enabling business users and functional experts to rapidly build secure, scalable, and compliant digital solutions, with a specific emphasis on Microsoft technologies including Copilot Studio, M365 Copilot, Databricks, and Power Platform. The Director will drive enterprise adoption of these platforms to support transformation in Audit, Tax, and Advisory, embedding Agentic AI and automation into core services and operations . Key Responsibiliti esStrategic Leadersh ipDefine the enterprise-wide strategy for low-code/no-code and citizen development in alignment with digital transformation prioritie s.Lead the adoption of Microsoft Copilot Studio, M365 Copilot, Databricks, and Power Platform to enable AI-driven application development across member firm s.Integrate LCNC practices into broader AI initiatives such as Agent Factory, AI Foundry, and Workbenc h.Establish citizen development as a core capability to accelerate innovation and reduce time-to-value for business application s.Engineering and Platform Developme ntOversee engineering and customization of LCNC platforms to ensure scalability, performance, and securit y.Build reusable templates, connectors, and AI-enabled accelerators for common Audit, Tax, and Advisory use cases (e.g., tax anomaly detection, audit evidence validation, compliance monitoring ).Drive interoperability between LCNC platforms and enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Teams, and SharePoin t.Ensure Agentic AI agents, RAG pipelines, and knowledge graph integrations are accessible through LCNC solution s.Governance and Complian ceImplement governance frameworks and DevSecOps pipelines for Copilot and LCNC applications, ensuring regulatory compliance and auditabilit y.Establish platform guardrails, role-based access models, and automated monitoring to enforce secure development practice s.Partner with Risk, Legal, and IT Security functions to ensure compliance with GDPR, data residency, and AI governance standard s.Citizen Development Enableme ntLaunch and manage a Citizen Development Academy within AI Academy to train and certify business users on Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and related tool s.Establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) for citizen development, providing reusable assets, guidance, and technical suppor t.Introduce Copilot-powered design accelerators to assist non-technical staff in building enterprise-grade application s.Foster a global community of practice to share knowledge, success stories, and best practice s. Stakeholder and Ecosystem Managem entAct as executive sponsor for Microsoft LCNC and Copilot adoption, ensuring alignment with functional and enterprise leadersh ip.Collaborate with Microsoft, Databricks, and other partners for joint innovation and enterprise-scale solution developme nt.Work closely with CXO-level stakeholders to embed LCNC into transformation agendas for Audit, Tax, and Adviso ry.Establish measurable ROI through reduced development time, productivity improvements, and reduction of shadow IT. Candidate Pro fileEduca tionMaster's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fi eld.Experi ence15+ years in enterprise technology, digital transformation, or AI, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on low-code/no-code platfo rms.Proven success deploying Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, M365 Copilot, and Databricks in enterprise-scale environme nts.Demonstrated experience with AI integration, RPA, enterprise automation, and multi-cloud architectu res.Strong background in managing global engineering teams and cross-functional progr ams.Competen ciesStrategic leader with a clear vision for AI-driven citizen developm ent.Deep understanding of AI governance, risk management, and security-first development practi ces.Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at Board and C-Suite le vel.Capability to balance innovation with compliance and operational r isk.Key Performance Indicators (K PIs)Percentage of applications developed through LCNC and Copilot platfo rms.Adoption rate of M365 Copilot, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio across functi ons.Percentage of reusable assets and AI agents integrated into citizen-developed applicati ons.Reduction in time-to-market for business applicati ons.Compliance and security scores (zero critical security breaches from LCNC ap ps).Citizen developer engagement levels: certifications, published apps, reusability metr ics.Measurable business impact through efficiency gains, cost reduction, and service innovat ion.
