Java Developer

We are hiring for a Java Developer role for our client, a technology company. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain scalable Java-based applications and backend services Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices Build and consume RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning Collaborate closely with QA, DevOps, and product teams across the delivery lifecycle Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues within defined SLAs Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability Contribute to architecture decisions and technical roadmap discussions Required Skills: Strong proficiency in Core Java and Java 8+ features (streams, lambdas, functional interfaces) Hands-on experience with Spring Boot / Spring MVC framework Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Working knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) Good understanding of OOP concepts and data structures Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) Good to Have: Experience with AWS / Azure cloud platforms Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes Exposure to Kafka or RabbitMQ Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery
