About the role
Role & responsibilities Solution Design & Architecture - Lead the target design for Finance master data and reference data across multiple business entities. - Design enterprise-wide Master Data Governance (MDG) frameworks, including: - Data domains - Data ownership - Data stewardship - Approval workflows - Business rules - Define reference data management strategies including: - Code lists - Mapping tables - Hierarchies - Data validity management - Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable SAP MDG/MDM solutions. - Make key architectural and governance decisions for Finance master data. Implementation & Build - Lead SAP MDG/MDM configuration activities including: - Data models - Validation rules - Derivation rules - Workflows - User Interfaces - Guide technical and functional teams throughout implementation. - Define enterprise data quality standards, KPIs, and remediation processes. - Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless master data integration across upstream and downstream systems. Testing, Go-Live & Hypercare - Own the end-to-end testing strategy covering: - Functional Testing - Integration Testing - Data Migration Testing - User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - Lead Finance master data migration and cutover activities. - Ensure data integrity throughout deployment. - Manage hypercare activities and transition to production support. Leadership & Stakeholder Management - Serve as the primary functional lead and trusted advisor for client stakeholders. - Conduct workshops and design discussions. - Mentor junior consultants and provide technical guidance. - Coordinate with Program Managers, Architects, and Delivery Leads. - Report project progress, risks, and mitigation plans. .
