The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database development, data modeling, ETL pipeline development, performance tuning, and data integration across multiple source systems. The candidate should be capable of working with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational applications. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL objects including: - Stored Procedures - Functions - Packages - Triggers - Cursors - Collections - Materialized Views - Develop and support robust ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems. - Perform data modeling activities including: - Logical Data Modeling - Physical Data Modeling - Database Normalization - Dimensional Modeling - Optimize SQL and PL/SQL code for performance, scalability, and maintainability. - Design and implement data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling frameworks. - Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions. - Troubleshoot production data issues and provide root-cause analysis. - Develop batch processing solutions and automate data workflows. - Work closely with Business Analysts, Architects, Application Teams, and Data Analysts. - Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are met. - Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and CI/CD deployment activities. Required Technical Skills Oracle Database - Oracle 11g/12c/19c or above - Advanced SQL & PL/SQL Programming - Query Optimization - Performance Tuning - Explain Plans - Indexing Strategies - Partitioning - Materialized Views - Oracle Scheduler ETL Technologies - Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts - Experience in large-scale data migration and transformation - Data Cleansing & Data Quality Validation - Batch Processing & Workflow Automation Data Engineering - Data Warehousing Concepts - Star Schema & Snowflake Schema - Fact & Dimension Modeling - Data Lake & Data Integration Concepts Scripting - Unix/Linux Shell Scripting - Python (Preferred) Preferred Skills - Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Cloud - Apache Airflow - PySpark - Hadoop Ecosystem - AWS Data Services (S3, Glue, Redshift) - Azure Data Factory - Snowflake - CI/CD & DevOps Practices - Git Version Control Required Experience - 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Database Development. - Strong hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development. - Proven experience in ETL design and implementation. - Experience working with large-scale enterprise data platforms. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database objects. - Experience supporting production environments and handling critical incidents.
