Senior Network Engineer

As a Network Security Engineer at KnowDis, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our network infrastructure. Here's what you'll need: - Must be based in Delhi (or willing to relocate immediately) and able to work in the office in a Hybrid Model - 2 days work from office - 4+ years of proven experience as a Network Security Engineer, Information Security Analyst, or similar role managing complex IT infrastructure - Hands-on experience with Next-Gen Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) - Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching) and VPN architectures (IPsec, SSL) - Experience with SIEM tools, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and network monitoring solutions Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and maintaining highly secure network architectures - Managing and configuring firewalls, VPNs, and Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS) - Continuously monitoring networks for vulnerabilities, active threats, and potential breaches - Leading incident response efforts, conducting thorough root cause analysis, and rapid remediation - Conducting regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and data protection laws - Partnering closely with internal IT, engineering, and data science teams to strengthen systems, enforce strict access controls, and enhance overall security posture - Acting as the primary custodian of IT security, educating staff on security best practices, mitigating insider threats, and fostering a security-first culture within the organization At KnowDis, we value integrity, trust, and a commitment to maintaining a secure network environment.
