Designation: Senior Engineer/Manager - Engineering Solar Lead Design Engineer (Ground mount Solar) Position Overview: An experienced Engineering Solar Lead Design Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in the design and development of our solar power projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in engineering, with a focus on solar energy systems and project management skills. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the engineering design process for solar power projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, electrical engineers, and construction teams to develop innovative solutions and optimize project efficiency. - Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal locations and design parameters for ground mount solar installations. - Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and drawings using CAD software. - Perform engineering calculations and simulations to analyse system performance and optimize design parameters. - Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality control. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members. - Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery. Qualifications: - Minimum Bachelors degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) - Minimum of 4 - 8 years of experience in engineering design, with a focus on solar energy systems. - Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and managing complex projects. - Proficiency in CAD software, PVsyst and engineering simulation tools. - Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with knowledge of photovoltaic technology and solar power generation. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to communicate effec .
