MMBU- Civil & Structural Design Manager - Kolkata/Jamshedpur_10-20 Yrs

We are looking for ideal candidate who has sound knowledge of "Civil & Structural Design Engineering" (Manager) for our Metal & Mining Business Unit. Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech / Postgraduate in Civil / Structural Engineering from an institute of repute. Experience : 10-20 years Location : Kolkata / Jamshedpur No. of Position : #10 Key Responsibilities: Knowledge in overall project engineering & design engineering. Identification of clients needs based on project requirement, data collection from Client and site visit. Understanding of overall project scheduling, procurement activities Strong knowledge of applicable civil and structural design/ engineering standards like IS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, BSEN etc. Shall be mobile & agile. Shall work as lead engineer for various projects. Preparation of technical proposals & man hour estimation for new projects. Cost estimation for construction works. Selection and coordination of suppliers/subcontractors. Understanding and interpretation of assignment drawings, inter-disciplinary requirements Development and review of technical reports such as Concept Note, Feasibility Study report, Detailed Project Report. Preparation and checking of technical specification & BOQs. Must have knowledge of RC & structural Design & checking of GFC drawings, Bar bending schedules and fabrication drawings. Shall be capable of preparation of calculation of design Documents. Should have experience in 3D environment and working knowledge of Navisworks. Key Skills Required: Attitude to learn and work in multiple projects simultaneously. Good written and verbal communications skills. Problem solving skills.
