Senior Infrastructure Manager - VMware and Windows Administration

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Manager with a strong background in VMware and Windows Administration. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in Infrastructure Management, Security Pathing, and Vulnerability Remediations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead infrastructure projects, ensure system reliability, and enhance security protocols within our organization. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee VMware and Windows server environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability. Implement and maintain infrastructure management best practices to support business operations. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability remediations to protect organizational assets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable infrastructure solutions. Develop and maintain documentation related to infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures. Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex infrastructure issues, providing timely resolutions. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities. Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices and technical skills. Mandatory Skills: Proven experience in VMware Administration, including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi. Strong knowledge of Windows Server Administration and Active Directory management. Expertise in Infrastructure Management principles and practices. Experience with security pathing and vulnerability remediation techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) and hybrid cloud environments. Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks. Experience with monitoring and performance tuning tools. Certifications in VMware (VCP, VCAP) and Microsoft (MCSA, MCSE) are a plus. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 10-15 years of experience in Infrastructure Management with a focus on VMware and Windows Administration. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Proven track record of managing complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
