We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Management Specialist with a strong background in managing and optimizing IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess in depth knowledge of Opsramp, a critical tool for monitoring and managing infrastructure performance. This role requires a proactive approach to problem solving and a commitment to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

• Utilize Opsramp for monitoring, alerting, and reporting on infrastructure health and performance.

• Implement best practices for infrastructure management, including capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure related issues.

• Develop and maintain documentation related to infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.

• Conduct regular audits and assessments of infrastructure to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Provide training and support to junior team members on infrastructure management tools and practices.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in infrastructure management to recommend improvements.

• Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Opsramp, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.

• Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure in a large scale environment.

• Solid understanding of network protocols, server management, and cloud technologies.

• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

• Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).

• Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices in IT service management.

• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper V).

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 7 10 years of experience in infrastructure management or a related role.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
