About the role
As a Computational Scientist at TEKNIKOZ, located in Bangalore, with 8-10 years of experience, your role will involve: - Designing, developing, and deploying advanced statistical, mathematical, and physics-based models. - Applying machine learning, deep learning, and predictive analytics techniques to solve complex scientific and engineering challenges. - Building simulation models for physical systems, static structures, and computational science applications. - Developing algorithms for optimization, numerical analysis, and scientific computing. - Analyzing large datasets and deriving actionable insights using advanced analytical techniques. - Collaborating with engineering, research, and product teams to translate scientific requirements into scalable solutions. - Implementing and maintaining data pipelines, feature engineering frameworks, and model monitoring processes. - Conducting hypothesis testing, experimental design, and uncertainty analysis. - Validating and calibrating mathematical models using real-world data. - Documenting methodologies, assumptions, results, and technical findings for stakeholders. - Mentoring junior data scientists and providing subject matter expertise in computational science domains. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Science, Data Science, or related disciplines. Key technical skills and qualifications needed for this position: - Strong knowledge of Statistics, Probability Theory, Linear Algebra, Calculus, and Numerical Methods. - Expertise in Physics-based modeling and computational simulations. - Proficiency in Python, R, MATLAB, Julia, or similar scientific programming languages. - Experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn. - Strong understanding of optimization algorithms and scientific computing libraries. - Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and big data technologies. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Familiarity with MLOps, model deployment, and performance monitoring. - Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, or Plotly. Preferred skills that would be beneficial for this role: - Experience in finite element analysis (FEA), computational physics, or engineering simulations. - Knowledge of reinforcement learning and advanced AI techniques. - Exposure to HPC (High-Performance Computing) environments. - Experience working with digital twins, predictive maintenance, or scientific research applications. - Understanding of Bayesian statistics and stochastic modeling. - Publications, patents, or research contributions in computational science domains are a plus.
