Desktop Support Specialist Landsdale, PA Apply Now Back to Search Pay: $33 Hourly We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Desktop Support Specialist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in ­­Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Details for the position are as follows: Job Description: Responsible for maintaining and supporting the computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices used in the laboratory environment. Troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring system stability, and potentially managing inventory of lab computing resources. Provide on-site desktop support to scientists and lab technicians in a GxP-compliant laboratory environment. Install, configure, and maintain lab-specific hardware and software (e.g., LIMS, Chromatography Data Systems, ELNs). 2,500 computer systems supported -- Windows 10/11 all types, peripherals/printers/scanners, Laptops, Desktops, and Tablets. Installs, configures and troubleshoots server and non-desktop computer hardware, software, systems and other resources in a data center or other centralized computer network setting. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Microsoft Office, and standard IT troubleshooting.
