As a Data Product Owner at Standard India, you will play a crucial role in defining and prioritizing backlog items, ensuring clarity of requirements, and supporting value delivery across Agile teams. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with engineering, analytics, and product partners to translate business objectives into actionable work, managing dependencies, validating story readiness, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality data products that meet user and business needs. Your role is critical in aligning customer needs, business priorities, and technical execution. Key Responsibilities: - Define, refine, and prioritize features while maintaining a build-ready backlog for one or more Agile teams. - Decompose features into user stories, story maps, and incremental delivery slices with clear, testable acceptance criteria. - Participate in PI Planning and collaborate with teams to ensure alignment with program priorities. - Validate story and feature completion according to the definition of done. - Manage workflow, dependencies, and risks to support predictable, incremental value delivery. - Use data, analytics, and customer feedback to guide prioritization and product improvements. Qualifications Required: - Education: A Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field is required. - Experience: Minimum 2 years in a Product Owner role within an Agile environment is required. Experience in data engineering, data analysis, or business intelligence is strongly preferred. - Familiarity with SAFe Agile practices, PI planning, and iterative delivery. - Preferred certifications: CSPO, SAFe POPM/APM, or ICPAPO. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and effective presentation of ideas. - Ability to communicate with a wide range of cross-functional team members and leaders. - Must excel at working in team-oriented roles and collaborating with others. - Experience with hypothesis-driven learning and turning data into actionable insights.
