Are you ready to make a difference Job Summary The Security Platform Engineer III is a senior-level security engineering professional responsible for evaluating, implementing, integrating, and operationalizing security platforms that support The Standard's continuous exposure management and monitoring strategy. This role serves as a technical leader within the Security Platforms team and plays a critical role in advancing capabilities that improve visibility into security risk across applications, infrastructure, cloud environments, and external attack surfaces. The engineer will partner with Security Operations, Application Security, Security Architecture, Infrastructure, and external vendors to build and mature an enterprise exposure management ecosystem that supports strategic initiatives and broader security risk reduction objectives. Key Responsibilities Platform Implementation, Integration & Engineering Deploy, configure, and maintain exposure management technologies and integrations. Assist with development of future-state exposure management and continuous monitoring capabilities and operating models. Identify technical gaps, risks, and implementation considerations across proposed solutions. Develop and support exposure prioritization workflows, reporting capabilities, and risk-based remediation activities. Create implementation standards, deployment procedures, and operational documentation. Platform Operations & Lifecycle Management Partner with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical challenges. Monitor platform health and operational performance. Support upgrades, maintenance activities, and lifecycle management efforts. Develop and maintain operational runbooks, knowledge articles, and platform documentation. Participate in operational support and escalation activities as required. Collaboration & Leadership Contribute to long-term platform strategy and roadmap execution. Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to teammates and stakeholders. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across platform integrations and operational processes. Collaborate with technical teams responsible for Application Security, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, and Infrastructure Security. Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, India is a requirement of the role. Mode of Working: This role follows a hybrid work model, with a primary base in Bengaluru. While on-site presence is essential for key engagements, flexibility is offered for remote work based on business needs and team alignment. Skills And Background Youll Need Education: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience. Experience 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise security technologies. Experience implementing and/or supporting cloud-based or SaaS security platforms. Experience participating in security technology evaluations, deployments, and integrations. Experience working with cross-functional technical teams and external vendors. Technical Skills Hands on experience with vulnerability scanning tools in the Application Security or Infrastructure spaces. Experience with two or more of the following: Application Security Posture Management (ASPM), External Attack Surface Management (EASM) technologies, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Vulnerability Management platforms, Security analytics and reporting solutions. Demonstrated proficiency with REST APIs, JSON and data exchange formats, PowerShell, Python or equivalent scripting languages, workflow automation and orchestration, Git-based version control systems. Technical Skills (Preferred) Experience with Exposure Management platforms.
