In this role, you will build secure, scalable, and production-ready AI agent solutions using Model Context Protocol (MCP), Google Vertex AI, and modern cloud technologies. You will work closely with AI engineers, cloud architects, and enterprise application teams to develop intelligent agent ecosystems that integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems while following security and governance best practices. Key Responsibilities Design and develop production-grade MCP servers and agent integrations. Build secure AI agent solutions using Google Vertex AI, Gemini Models, and Agent Engine. Implement OAuth 2.0/OIDC authentication flows, including Authorization Code Flow, PKCE, refresh tokens, scopes, and per-user token forwarding. Develop and maintain Python-based cloud-native AI applications. Deploy AI services on Google Cloud Run using IAM, Service Accounts, and Secret Manager. Ensure enterprise-grade security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered enterprise solutions. Follow secure coding practices with least-privilege access and fail-closed architecture. Required Skills 36 years of software development experience. Strong expertise in Model Context Protocol (MCP). Deep understanding of JSON-RPC, Streamable HTTP, tool discovery, session handshake, and agent communication. Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect. Experience with Google Vertex AI, Gemini Models, Agent Engine, Cloud Run, IAM, Service Accounts, and Secret Manager. Strong Python programming skills. Experience building enterprise AI or agent-based applications. Strong understanding of scalable system design and enterprise security best practices. Preferred Skills Experience registering MCP Servers or Agents with Gemini Enterprise or Agent Registry. Experience with iPaaS platforms such as Workato. Advanced Prompt Engineering.
