About the role As a Senior Software Engineer Full Stack, you will work with the Software Engineering team on Tor.ais Industrial IoT software platforms. You will own complex software modules across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, dashboards, telemetry data, analytics, reports and customer-facing applications. The role requires strong hands-on coding, system-level thinking, debugging maturity and the ability to guide junior engineers while continuing to remain an individual contributor. This is not a people-management role. It is a senior IC role with higher technical ownership, module-level delivery responsibility and delivery support responsibility one level below the Scrum Master / Technical Manager. The candidate should be able to support requirement clarification, task breakdown, effort inputs, assigned task tracking, code reviews, release readiness inputs and technical follow-ups for assigned modules. Key Responsibilities Own the design, development and delivery of complex full-stack software modules using Angular and .NET Core. Build scalable frontend screens, dashboards, reports, workflows and customer-facing product features. Design and develop REST APIs, backend services, business logic and integration layers using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core. Work with SQL Server / PostgreSQL and MongoDB for data modelling, storage, retrieval, query optimization and large-scale data handling. Own IoT application features involving device data, telemetry, alerts, reports, analytics, dashboards and cloud integrations. Review requirements, identify technical gaps, propose solutions and convert product needs into reliable software features. Optimize application performance, API response time, database queries, data-processing logic and system reliability. Debug complex frontend, backend, API, database, integration and production-level issues in a structured manner. Identify and address technical debt, refactor code and improve maintainability, scalability and performance. Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, release planning and production issue reviews. Guide junior engineers on coding practices, debugging approach, design clarity, testing discipline and documentation. Support the Scrum Master / Technical Manager in sprint execution by helping with requirement clarification, module-level task breakdown, effort inputs, assigned task tracking, release readiness inputs and follow-up on technical dependencies. Coordinate with product managers, architects, QA, firmware, implementation and support teams for delivery and issue closure. Follow and improve software development processes, Git discipline, review practices, documentation standards and release discipline. Technology Exposure Frontend : Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, responsive UI development, dashboard screens and component-based frontend development. Backend : C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, .NET 8 preferred, REST APIs, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, authentication and authorization. Database : SQL Server / PostgreSQL, MongoDB, stored procedures, query optimization, data modelling and large-scale data handling. Dashboards & Analytics : Telemetry data processing, reports, alerts, trend analysis, charts, filters, analytics calculations and data-heavy application workflows. Tools & Platforms : Git / GitHub / Azure DevOps, Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code, Postman, IIS hosting basics, debugging tools, logging tools and deployment basics. Added Advantage : Industrial IoT platforms, MQTT basics, Azure cloud exposure, cloud deployment and monitoring, Redis caching, Docker basics, message brokers, event-driven systems, real-time data processing and scalable architecture patterns. Leadership / Delivery Support Exposure : Supporting sprint planning, requirement clarification, module-level task breakdown, effort inputs, assigned task tracking, code review participation, design discussion support, release readiness inputs, junior developer guidance and cross-functional follow-up for assigned modules. Required Skills Strong hands-on programming skills in C#, .NET Core and Angular. Good understanding of object-oriented programming, APIs, databases, system design basics and application architecture. Hands-on experience in developing scalable frontend applications and backend APIs. Ability to independently own complex modules from requirement understanding to release support. Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication, authorization and frontend-backend integration. Working knowledge of SQL Server / PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Good understanding of query optimization, performance improvement, scalability and maintainability. Ability to debug complex issues across frontend, backend, API, database, integration and production environments. Ability to review code, identify gaps, improve technical quality and guide junior engineers. Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving ability, ownership and attention to detail. Ability to support sprint execution through requirement clarification, effort inputs, assigned task tracking and release readiness support. Good communication, documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to work with product, QA, firmware, implementation and support teams for delivery and issue resolution. Willingness to build deep understanding of Industrial IoT domain, device data flows and product architecture. Preferred Profile B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics, MCA, MSc IT or equivalent qualification. 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in full-stack software development. Hands-on experience in Angular, TypeScript, C#, .NET Core, REST APIs, SQL databases and MongoDB. Experience in product-based companies, IoT platforms, dashboards, analytics, enterprise applications or data-heavy applications will be preferred. Exposure to Azure, Redis, Docker, IIS, MQTT, message queues or event-driven systems will be an added advantage. Exposure to requirement clarification, task breakdown, effort estimation inputs, code reviews, design reviews or mentoring junior developers will be preferred. Candidates who are stable, ownership-driven, technically strong and interested in growing into long-term technical leadership roles while remaining hands-on.
