Data Engineer (Data & Analytics) Banking

You are an experienced professional in Banking Business with a good understanding of Datawarehouse, ETL processes, and Reporting using SQL Server /Oracle database. Exposure to Azure cloud services, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Database, ADLS, Power BI is preferable. Key Responsibilities: - Lead BI architect in developing, designing, and implementing DWH OLAP processes, visual dashboards, and BI solutions. - Collaborate with business users to understand requirements, convert them into technical solutions, and create architecture and technical design documents. - Work with the team to implement Data Integration BI solutions aligned with business requirements. - Evaluate and test capabilities of existing and emerging BI technologies. - Ensure customer satisfaction, timely delivery of KPIs, code quality, troubleshooting, and system problem-solving. Business Knowledge: - Knowledge of Banking product life cycle and cross-sell products. - Understanding of customer journey in Banking portfolio. - Knowledge of Banking Business process and ability to automate processes using ETL tools and SQL queries. - Ability to learn new concepts quickly, work well under pressure, and communicate effectively. - Strong team player with good interpersonal and analytical skills. Work Experience: - 5-7 or 2-3 years combined experience in DWH/BI development. - Experience in developing BI solutions using Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, SAS is a plus. - Strong analytical, Data Modeling, ETL using ADF, SQL Query writing, problem-solving, and debugging skills. - Experience with large, multi-dimensional data sets and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MSSQL). - Familiarity with Big data/databases and other data manipulation technology is desirable. - Experience with any Market leading BI Tool (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, SAS) is advantageous. Education: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field. - Diploma in Computer from reputed institute like NIIT/ Premium Institutes. - Master's Degree holders will have an advantage.
