About the role

As a skilled FPGA Engineer with 8-10 years of experience, your primary role will involve designing and developing FPGA firmware for next-generation Prysm Display Solutions. This position is based in Chennai. You will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Designing and developing FPGA firmware for next-generation Prysm Display Solutions. - Developing algorithms for key IP blocks and providing a platform abstraction layer for system-related activities. - Optimizing the overall video pipeline for higher performance. - Leading the design effort on various projects in a highly collaborative, dynamic environment. - Working with High-Speed Data, I/O, and Integrated CPU. - Executing FPGA verification and simulation activities. - Handling Rapid Data to Slow and vice versa. - Owning and maintaining requirements, architecture, coding, and test-benches documents. - Maintaining effective communication among intra or inter-department personnel and working in a dynamic atmosphere where cooperation is essential. - Providing adequate laboratory assistance to other professionals and enforcing/improving algorithms related to signal and information processing. - Having working experience with I2C, EEPROM, SPI, EMMC devices and creating, burning, and debugging FPGA Binaries. - Supporting the production introduction of newly developed PCBAs and assisting in manufacturing support/product maintenance/adaptation developments and application of the product realization process (LEAN, PLM process). In order to excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications: - Expertise in Verilog and System Verilog Coding and RTL Abstraction. - Proficiency in Digital Design Concepts, Design Tools, Simulation, Timing, and Modelling. - Experience with Xilinx, Vivado, or Questa Sim Environment. - Knowledge of SerDes (Serial/De-serializer), AMBA, AHB, AXI Protocols, and DDR. - Ability to perform RTL and Verilog coding procedures. - Hands-on experience with I2C, EEPROM, SPI, EMMC devices. - Holding a B.E. or M.E. or MTech Degree in Computer Science or Electrical or Electronics Engineering. - Working experience with multiple clock domains and handling data to and from DDR. - Knowledge of Know-how of SerDes (Serial/De-serializer) and Enforcing and improving the algorithms that are related to the signal and information processing activities. - Required to produce digital circuit designs that can work at an advanced speed limit at various board levels. - Must have working experience with I2C, EEPROM, SPI, EMMC devices. - Required to perform the job of producing digital circuit designs that can work at an advanced speed limit at various board levels. - Hands-on to create, burn, and debug FPGA Binaries. - Support in the production introduction of newly developed PCBAs. - Manufacturing support/product maintenance/adaptation developments and application of the product realization process (LEAN, PLM process).
