About the role
Water Supply / Sewerage / Storm Water Expert Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in Civil Engineering Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience in construction supervision and/or Quality Control Extensive experience in urban infrastructure projects , specifically in: Water Supply Systems Sewerage Systems Storm Water Drainage Systems Roles & Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise for planning, construction supervision, and quality control of water supply, sewerage, and storm water drainage works Review and ensure compliance of designs, drawings, and technical specifications with applicable standards and contract requirements Supervise construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of works Monitor and implement quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures for relevant infrastructure components Review contractor's method statements, work programs, and quality plans related to water supply, sewerage, and storm water systems Conduct inspections, testing, and verification of materials and workmanship Assist in resolving technical issues and site-related challenges during construction Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives for effective project implementation Review measurements, certify quantities, and assist in preparation of interim payment certificates Prepare technical notes, progress reports, and completion documentation related to assigned works Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations at site Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of urban water supply, sewerage, and storm water drainage systems Sound understanding of construction supervision and quality control practices Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and specifications Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills
