Location: Pune Experience: 5-8 Years Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on SAP Technical (ABAP) to join our SAP support and project team. The role involves supporting, enhancing, and maintaining SAP applications while working closely with functional and business teams across multiple SAP modules including FI, SD, MM, PP, QM, EWM, and PS. The ideal candidate will have strong ABAP fundamentals, experience in support environments, and the ability to independently resolve technical issues. Key Responsibilities SAP ABAP Development & Support Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP ABAP developments including:Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV)Enhancements (User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs)Interfaces (IDOC, BAPI, RFC, File-based)BDC programs (Session and Call Transaction methods)WorkflowsForms (Smart Forms, SAP Scripts; Adobe Forms)Provide L1/ L2 / L3 technical support for production incidentsPerform root cause analysis, debugging, and permanent fixesExperience in ABAP on HANA concepts Hands-on with CDS Views (basic to advanced) AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) knowledge Code push-down techniques Performance optimization using HANA toolsBuild and consume OData services for SAP Fiori/UI5 applicationsPerform code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting Workflow & Process Automation Develop, configure, debug, and support SAP WorkflowEnhance existing workflows and support approval/business process automationCoordinate with functional teams for workflow-based solutions Functional Collaboration (FI / SD / MM / PP / QM / EWM / PS) Work closely with SAP functional consultants and business users across:Understand end-to-end business processes and data flowsTranslate functional requirements into efficient technical designs Enhancements, Changes & Documentation Support enhancements, small projects, and change requestsFollow SAP development standards and coding best practicesPrepare and maintain technical documentation (FS inputs, TS, code documentation)Support transports, testing cycles, cutover, and postgo-live activitiesAssist in SAP upgrades, patches, and system maintenance Mandatory Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP / ABAP OOExperience in development and support of Reports & ALVEnhancements (BAdIs, User Exits, Customer Exits)Interfaces (IDOC, BAPI, RFC)BDC programsSAP Workflow (development and debugging)Good understanding of SAP Data Dictionary (tables, structures, views)Experience working in AMS support projects Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication and stakeholder coordination abilitiesAbility to work independently in an in-house support setupWillingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership Education Bachelors degree in engineering / computer science / IT or relevant field .
