About the role
Role Overview: At Western Digital, you will lead and independently execute global trade and ERP-related projects, ensuring timely delivery within defined scope and quality expectations. Your responsibilities will include translating complex business and regulatory requirements into detailed process flows, system designs, and specifications for Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) and related ERP platforms. As a key liaison between Global Trade, IT, and external partners, you will analyze import/export transactions, identify compliance gaps, and lead system testing and implementation activities for trade compliance processes. Key Responsibilities: - Define and document project scope, deliverables, and tasks aligned with Global Trade and enterprise objectives. - Track milestones, identify risks, and communicate issues and recommendations to Global Trade Operations leadership. - Analyze import/export transactions and data sets to identify compliance gaps, root causes, and process efficiencies. - Develop and maintain SOPs, training materials, and process documentation; support end-user training and change management activities. - Prepare operational performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Provide subject-matter guidance to junior analysts, support audits, regulatory inquiries, and advanced trade compliance activities. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) preferred. - 6+ years of experience in global trade compliance, import/export operations, ERP systems, or project-based roles. - Advanced knowledge of global logistics operations, customs regulations, and trade compliance requirements. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment. - Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills. - Exceptional attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Power BI, Visio, JIRA, and SQL queries. - Ability to collaborate effectively, mentor team members, and support analytics and reporting.
