DevSecOps Architect

Our Principal Architect will be part of a multi-disciplined team defining and building solutions to automate day-to-day processes with a view of providing more efficient platforms for developers. The engineer must help drive improvements to processes and help design automated enhancements with a view to continuous improvement. Our Architect will be responsible for embedding security practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) by collaborating with development and operations teams. 10+ years experience covering responsibilities and skills as listed below: Building Secure Infrastructure: Design, build, and maintain secure and resilient cloud solutions, including use of Infrastructure as Code & configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet CI/CD & Integrated Security: Solution, Design and built CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins / GitLab / Azure DevOps / AWS Code Pipeline / Github Actions. Implement automated security checks, tests, and monitoring within continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines. Security Check Automation: Develop, maintain infrastructure and tools in order to automate security protocols (SAST, DAST) & Compliance checks. Conduct assessments and risk evaluations to monitor and address security weaknesses in applications and infrastructure. Proficient in programming and scripting: Python, Bash, ruby for purpose of automation & integration Proven experience in delivering Infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible Delivery experience of introducing Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift container platforms Strong understanding of infrastructure, security, firewalls and networking Strong understanding of network principals and practical knowledge of load balancing technologies Monitoring Experience in introducing monitoring tools and performance profiling Databases skilled in Mysql, Oracle and noSQL DBs System administration strong knowledge in Linux/Unix Experience in migrations from legacy platforms to new solutions Personal Attributes Excellent interpersonal skills and team leader Ability to consider multiple ideas and work to agree on best fit solution Client focused Attention to detail Strong aptitude and interest in technology High energy level coupled with a desire to take on responsibility Able to multi-task Cross-Team Coordination & Stakeholder Management Drive alignment across multiple customer teams and partner organizations, ensuring a unified technical direction.
