Enterprise Architect

This role expects the individual to design, govern, and maintain the organization s enterprise-wide IT architecture , aligning technology strategy with business objectives. The Enterprise Architect will define standards and optimize systems across Data, Application, and Technology layers , ensuring that solutions and implementations support business growth, innovation, scalability, and security. Expectations Strategy Develop and own the enterprise IT roadmap , translating business goals into actionable architecture blueprints. Ensure technology initiatives support business needs, improve operational efficiency, enhance security, and enable seamless information sharing. System Design Define, create, and govern enterprise architecture across applications, data, and infrastructure . Ensure architectural consistency, scalability, and interoperability across the organization. Standards & Governance Define and enforce IT policies, architectural standards, and best practices for development, integration, and system usage. Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture principles and regulatory requirements. Leadership Provide architectural leadership and direction to development and engineering teams. Collaborate closely with senior management to manage and guide technological change across the enterprise. Optimization & Innovation Evaluate existing systems to identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies. Research and recommend emerging technologies and architectural improvements to enhance business operations. Skills Technical Expertise Deep understanding of enterprise IT systems , data management, software development, and infrastructure architecture. Methodologies & Frameworks Strong proficiency in architectural frameworks such as BDAT (Business, Data, Application, Technology) or equivalent enterprise architecture models. Problem-Solving Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and design solutions aligned with the overall enterprise IT blueprint and business objectives. Leadership & Communication Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Cross-Team Coordination & Stakeholder Management Drive alignment across multiple customer teams and partner organizations to ensure a unified architectural direction. Facilitate technical discussions, resolve conflicts, and negotiate architecture decisions among diverse stakeholders. Clearly articulate architectural strategies, trade-offs, and design decisions to executive leadership and delivery teams. Experience & Qualifications 10+ years of overall IT experience , with significant hands-on experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or large-scale system design . Proven experience designing and governing enterprise-level architectures across data, application, and technology domains. Experience working with senior leadership and influencing strategic technology decisions. Exposure to large, complex, multi-system enterprise environments is highly preferred.
