Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled LIMS Consultant to provide IT support for laboratory systems in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LabVantage LIMS (preferred) or LabWare , and a solid understanding of laboratory workflows, compliance requirements, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day IT support for LIMS users in a regulated lab environment
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, system errors, and support tickets
Perform LIMS system configuration, user administration, and master data updates
Collaborate with lab personnel to ensure accurate representation of lab workflows in LIMS
Document system processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps clearly and accurately
Ensure compliance with GxP , FDA , and other regulatory guidelines
Support system integration with instruments, ELNs, ERP systems, and other platforms
Follow ITIL practices for incident, change, and problem management
Participate in system enhancements, testing, and validation efforts
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including IT, QA, and laboratory users
Required Qualifications:
3–5 years of LIMS-related IT support in pharma , biotech , or lab environments
Strong hands-on experience with LabVantage LIMS (preferred) or LabWare LIMS
Solid understanding of laboratory operations, sample tracking, and analytical workflows
Experience in configuring and managing LIMS systems and user roles
Familiarity with ITIL processes for change/incident/problem management
Strong documentation and technical writing skills
Working knowledge of GxP , FDA , and other regulatory frameworks
Experience with system integrations (LIMS to instruments, ELNs, ERPs, etc.)
Excellent communication skills; comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
