Data Quality Analyst

As an ETL Automation & Functional QA Analyst with 38 years of experience, your role will involve ensuring data accuracy, validating ETL workflows, and building automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. - Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements. - Validate data integrity, completeness, and accuracy across multiple systems. - Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and data engineers to comprehend data flows and requirements. - Automate test cases using automation tools/frameworks to enhance efficiency. - Conduct functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing. - Prepare and execute SQL queries for backend data validation. - Identify defects, log bugs, and track them to closure. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices. Qualifications Required: - Strong experience in ETL Testing / Data Warehouse Testing. - Proficiency in SQL for data validation. - Hands-on experience in test automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, or similar). - Good understanding of functional testing and QA methodologies. - Experience working with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, etc.). - Knowledge of data warehousing concepts. - Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Additionally, the company prefers candidates with experience in automation frameworks development, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.), exposure to big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark), and experience in Agile methodology.
