Job Description Associate Engineer- Mechanical Job Title : Associate Engineer Mechanical Department : MCAD CoE Reports to : Sr. Manager - Engineering Description of Essential Duties: To work in Global Environment for Design Engineering support activities for New Product development, VAVE and Improvement projects. To Work on projects/assignments (short or long term) such as on CAD Modelling, its detailing, making General assembly drawings (using Creo Tool & AutoCAD). Work on 3D models, assemblies, GA drawings, and BOM structures. Must also be able to work independently with little guidance. Must have Creo working experience. Adherence to project management process set by organization. Being part of Global Engineering Function, he/she is expected to maintain desired quality & schedule adherence defined by organization and report as per defined communication plan. Required Competency: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering 1-3 years of experience on Creo platform & AutoCAD in Sheet metal domain is a must. Must have good working experience in 3D modelling and detailing work on Creo with experience on generating Bills of Materials. Should also possess relevant experience and understanding of CO process. Working experience on any PLM tools. Agile or PD cloud will be added advantage. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication process will be an added advantage. Good Interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English. Self-motivated, disciplined, passionate, Willingness to learn and organized. Experience in handling large CAD assemblies in CREO and managing modifications as required.
