Job Description: SDA L2 Network Engineer Experience - 3-6 Years Location : Hyderabad or Bangalore Contract - Onsite Role Overview The SDA L2 Network Enginee r is responsible for the operational support, monitoring, and troubleshootin g of Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) environments. This role focuses on incident resolution (L2 level), service assurance, and maintaining enterprise campus network stabilit y using Cisco DNA Center and related technologies . Key Responsibilities Operations & Support - Provide L2 suppor t for Cisco SDA (Software-Defined Access) networks - Monitor network health using Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center) - Troubleshoot issues related to : - Fabric nodes (Edge, Control, Border) - Wireless (WLC, Access Points in SDA fabric) - End-user connectivity (wired & wireless) - Handle incidents, service requests, and changes within SLA timelines SD-Access (SDA) Fabric Operations - Support and maintain - Fabric provisioning (underlay & overlay) - VXLAN-based fabric deployment - LISP control-plane operations - Troubleshoot - Host onboarding issues, IP reachability inside fabric, Fabric edge node misconfigurations - Validate fabric health and node status Policy & Segmentation - Work with Cisco ISE integratio n for identity-based access control - Support - Scalable Group Tags (SGT) , Security Group Access Control Lists (SGACL) - Policy enforcement issues - Troubleshoot authentication/authorization issues (802.1X, MAB) Wireless Integration (SDA) - Troubleshoot Fabric-enabled Wireless deployments - Supports - SIDs mapped to VN (Virtual Networks) - Wireless client onboarding issues - Roaming and connectivity issues Monitoring & Incident Management - Monitor network performance and availability - Use tools such as - Catalyst Center dashboards, SNMP/NMS tools and Syslog/Splunk - Perform - Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Incident trend analysis - Escalate complex issues to L3 teams Required Technical Skills Core Networking - St .
