Quality Assurance Engineer Analyst

iCapital is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Analyst to join the Structured Investments and Annuities team. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of software delivered to clients by designing and executing test plans, performing various types of testing, and supporting external clients during their testing cycles.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Database team to sync and update databases as required for deployments and testingExecute production deployments in accordance with change management processes and ensure successful implementationProvide accurate estimates for Change Management Requests (CMRs) and assess potential risks and impactsReview requirements documentation to develop a thorough understanding of project scope and testing objectivesCreate and maintain test plans and test cases designed to offer adequate test coverage and minimize escaped defectsDevelop and maintain quality assurance matrices of test coverage and slippage ratios, and other pertinent quality metricsFollow established quality control processes, test execution methods and standards to identify, analyze, and document issues, bugs, defects, and other problemsComplete full regression testing and analyze test resultsManage code and data migrations across multiple testing and production environmentsConduct smoke and sanity testing following each build or deployment to verify baseline system stability before broader test executionMonitor the defect tracking system daily and partner with the development team to drive timely resolution of identified issuesParticipate in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; provide regular testing status updates to the team and stakeholdersSkills1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance, application testing, or a related technology backgroundFamiliar with the software development life cycleStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with a test automation platform (i.e. Selenium, Playwright, or similar) is a plusComfort using AI-assisted tools such as Copilot or generative test generation to improve testing efficiency is a plusLife insurance and annuities proficiency preferredBenefitsEquity for all full-time employeesAnnual performance bonusEmployer matched retirement planGenerously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counselingParental leaveUnlimited paid time off (PTO)Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on FridayCompany OverviewiCapital streamlines financial operations for alternative investments, structured products, and annuities.
