About the role
As a candidate for the position of leading the strategic direction and management of Benefit Administration Technology programs, your responsibilities will include: - Managing Technology and business in progressively complex delivery roles including Development, implementation, and maintenance of Benefit Administration Technology Platforms. - Developing and articulating a clear technology strategy aligning with the organization's business objectives and growth plans. - Overseeing the planning and execution of large transitions related to benefits administration, including vendor changes and system integrations. - Leading the selection and integration of new team members to foster a cohesive and high-performing internal team. - Implementing effective change management strategies to support employees through transitions and ensure continued engagement and productivity. - Managing the full lifecycle of employee benefits programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals and workforce needs. - Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. - Leading a multidisciplinary delivery team focused on providing solutions and enhancements to the benefits administration platform. - Fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, encouraging team members to propose and implement creative solutions. - Serving as the primary liaison between senior leadership, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure alignment on objectives and performance. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored benefits solutions. - Ensuring all benefits programs comply with applicable regulations, federal and state laws. - Conducting regular assessments and audits to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. - Preparing and presenting comprehensive reports to leadership on program status, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives. Preferred Skills: - Strong Technology Delivery management skills with a focus on delivering results in complex environments. - Proven experience in managing large-scale Java/J2EE or any other Web-based application development projects in an Agile environment. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Certifications in benefits administration (e.g., CEBS) or project management (e.g., PMP) are preferred. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Master's Degree.
