Software Tester

Work Type : Work from office Roles & Responsibilties : Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans. Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of software applications. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools. Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and resolve defects. Perform regression, functional, system, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Validate fixes and perform re-testing of resolved issues. Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and best practices. Generate detailed test reports and provide feedback for improvements. Requirements : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Software Tester/QA Engineer . Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail). Experience with manual and automated testing techniques. Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) is a plus. Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Experience with API testing and performance testing tools (e.g., Postman, JMeter). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
