We organize product delivery into five focused Agile Pods Titan, Atlas, Nova, Pulse, and Bridge each owning a distinct part of the Zato platform end-to-end, backed by dedicated cross-pod functions in engineering infrastructure (Forge), security & compliance (Shield), quality (Vanguard), and customer success (Summit). We're hiring a dedicated Product Manager for each Pod to own its roadmap and take it to its next stage of growth, partnering closely with each Pod's engineering SPOC(s), the PMO, and the wider Zato leadership team. About the Role Atlas is the financial backbone of Zato manual and auto journals, the workpaper engine, and multi-jurisdiction (NZ/AU) workpapers. As Atlas's Product Manager, you'll own the roadmap for how accounting teams create, review, and audit their financial records inside Zato. What You'll Do Product Strategy & Roadmap - Define and prioritize the Atlas roadmap across journals, the workpaper engine, and NZ/AU jurisdictional requirements - Build a multi-year vision for how Zato modernizes workpaper preparation and review Execution & Delivery - Translate complex accounting and compliance requirements into clear, engineering-ready user stories - Partner with Atlas's engineering team to scope solutions that meet audit and traceability standards - Apply agentic AI to streamline journal creation, review, and workpaper preparation Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with Security, Compliance & Regulatory (Shield) to ensure workpaper features satisfy audit and regulatory requirements - Partner with Customer Success (Summit) to understand how accounting teams actually use Atlas day-to-day - Coordinate with the PMO on release sequencing across jurisdictions What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months) - Delivered improvements to workpaper audit & traceability based on direct customer/auditor feedback - Shipped at least one agentic AI feature that measurably speeds up journal creation or review - Built a roadmap that accounts for NZ and AU jurisdictional requirements without slowing delivery What We're Looking For Must-Haves - 68 years of Product Management experience - Strong domain experience in Accounting & Compliance journals, workpapers, audits - Experience building agentic AI features - Ability to translate technical accounting concepts into clear product requirements - Comfort working across multiple jurisdictions' regulatory requirements Nice-to-Haves - Background in accounting, audit, or financial compliance (CPA/CA a plus, not required) - Experience with multi-country or multi-jurisdiction regulatory products - Familiarity with applying agentic AI in a finance context Ways of Working You'll operate inside Zato's Agile Pod model partnering closely with Atlas's engineering SPOC(s), collaborating with cross-pod functions (Forge, Shield, Summit, Vanguard) as needed, and working alongside the PMO on delivery planning and sprint releases. Day to day, you'll live in a roadmap/sprint tool (e.g., Jira or Linear), design reviews in Figma, and analytics tooling to track feature performance.
