You are currently hiring for the position of Server Management Administration (Linux) at ZettaMine. The role requires 4-8 years of experience in Server Management Administration specifically focusing on Linux. You should have experience in server (physical/VM) installation, maintenance, and decommissioning. Profound experience in Linux OS operations is necessary, along with knowledge in hypervisor operations such as XEN and VMware. It is important to have good knowledge in LVM, DNS, LDAP, and IPTables, as well as troubleshooting skills in server down situations. Knowledge in physical server management is also required. Additionally, having associate level knowledge in at least one public cloud landscape (AWS, Azure, GCP) is beneficial. Basic knowledge in automation tools like chef and scripting languages such as bash and Perl is essential. Experience in using GitHub and Jira would be advantageous. Any experience in monitoring with Prometheus on docker setup and/or ELK stack would be beneficial, though not mandatory. Knowledge of central infrastructure services like Security Groups, RPM, Rsync, Mail, Active Directory, Chef automation, Nagios, and repository management is recommended. You should be able to provide knowledge transfer from certain technology areas towards 2nd level technical support.
