POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Percent of Time: 100% Liaise with Zoetis development teams to anchor creation of CI/CD process and pipelines Liaise with Zoetis Cloud Ops and Cloud Security Teams to provide guidance on solutions and coordinate deployment of infrastructure and applications Own and document applied infrastructure across our products Develop strategy and procedures for monitoring operation of deployed services to be followed by operational teams Monitor hosting costs across products and advise on optimizing costs Ensure operational backup and recovery procedures are documented Assist troubleshooting issues on production systems as required Stay current in relation to new technologies and techniques, with a focus on AWS services; identify opportunities to apply them for the new and existing solutions ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP Reports to Head of Global Dx Digital Product Architecture & Engineering EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technology field Experience: Minimum 4+ years working in cloud infrastructure or related technical role Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements within healthcare, diagnostics, or veterinary industries preferred TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Deep experience with Enterprise GitHub, GitHub Actions and workflows, and Azure DevOps Extensive hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS, IAM, and Elastic Beanstalk, with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, and reliability Experience with any of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell Work closely with the Architecture team to take ownership of application onboarding, access controls, and environment setup Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work with cross-functional teams while thriving in a fast-paced growing company Manage Azure Services AppService, AKS and RBAC roles to ensure secure access and governance Work with tools like ServiceNow and Jira for task and incident management Fundamental understanding of networking and firewalls Support ad-hoc initiatives such as cost optimization, reporting, and other operational improvements Troubleshoot application issues related to underlying infrastructure, including performance, connectivity, and deployment-related problems Experience with creating dashboards for monitoring infrastructure, applications, and services on Azure Excellent verbal and written communication skills, which includes the ability to present complex topics to non-technical audiences BONUS POINTS Experience with OpenTelemetry tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger, Kiali Experience with setting up and managing ISTIO PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS Ability to travel when required EMPLOYMENT TYPE Full-time
