Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Padmi collects, why we use it, and the choices you have across our public job index and private talent marketplace.
Last updated July 24, 2026
1. Scope and who we are
Padmi operates two connected services: a public index of live technology jobs and a private talent marketplace. This policy applies to padmi.ai and related Padmi services. Padmi is the controller of personal information described here unless a separate agreement says otherwise.
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to team@padmi.ai.
2. Information we collect
Public job search
- Search text, filters, sponsorship preferences, pages viewed, shared-search links you create, and interactions such as opening a job or an employer's application page.
- Browser and device information, approximate location derived from network information, referral URLs, timestamps, and diagnostic data.
- A browser or session identifier used for onboarding state, navigation restoration, caching, abuse prevention, and aggregate visitor counts.
Public search does not require an account. Search text may reveal preferences such as location, seniority, compensation, or visa needs, so avoid including names or other information you do not want processed. Anyone with a shared-search link can view the search it represents.
Private talent marketplace
- Account and contact information, including your name, email address, and authentication identifiers.
- Profile and career information you submit or authorize us to obtain, such as a resume, work and education history, skills, preferences, LinkedIn or GitHub information, and compensation or location preferences.
- Private candidate materials, vouches, referral responses, company-interest decisions, and your choices about when identity may be shared.
- Messages and support requests you send to Padmi.
Information from public and third-party sources
We collect job and company information from public employer career pages, applicant-tracking systems, and other permitted sources. We may also receive profile or identity information from services you deliberately connect, such as Google, LinkedIn, GitHub, or a profile-enrichment provider.
3. How we use information
- Provide, personalize, and improve job search, query understanding, sponsorship evidence, shared links, and public job pages.
- Create and operate private marketplace profiles, evaluate stated preferences, collect vouches, and show candidate-approved information to authorized companies.
- Authenticate users, maintain account and navigation state, provide support, and communicate about the service.
- Measure product usage, diagnose failures, prevent fraud or abuse, secure the service, and comply with legal obligations.
- Generate or improve user-facing features with service providers acting on our instructions. We do not use private marketplace dossiers, resumes, raw vouches, or Google user data to train generalized AI models.
Where applicable, we process information to perform our contract with you, based on your consent, to comply with law, and for legitimate interests such as operating, securing, and improving Padmi. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.
4. Analytics, cookies, and browser storage
Padmi uses cookies and local or session storage for authentication, security, onboarding frequency, search and navigation restoration, caching, and visitor measurement. We use PostHog to understand public-product usage, including page views, feature interactions, and limited session replay. Inputs are masked in replay. Private talent and admin routes are excluded from DOM autocapture and session replay.
You can limit cookies in your browser, but authentication, navigation restoration, and other features may not work correctly.
5. How we disclose information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only as needed to operate Padmi, at your direction, or as permitted by law.
- Infrastructure and storage providers, including Supabase, Vercel, and Railway.
- Product and communications providers, including PostHog and Resend.
- AI and enrichment providers, including Anthropic and Apify, when required for a feature you use.
- Authentication or connected-service providers, including Google, LinkedIn, and GitHub.
- Authorized marketplace participants, but only according to the candidate's privacy controls and the recipient's access rights.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or a successor in a corporate transaction when legally necessary and subject to appropriate safeguards.
Private resumes, raw profiles, raw vouches, and internal dossiers are not placed in public pages or link previews.
6. Connected Google services
If you deliberately connect a Google service, we request only the permissions shown during authorization and use that information only to provide the connected feature. Padmi's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI models. You can revoke access through your Google account permissions.
7. Retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including to provide the service, maintain security and audit records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by category: browser storage lasts until it expires or you clear it; shared searches may remain available until removed; marketplace data generally remains while the account or profile is active; and service logs and analytics follow configured operational retention periods.
When information is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it, subject to backups, fraud-prevention records, and legal obligations.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing of, or receive a portable copy of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent and appeal a decision where applicable. California residents may also request the categories and specific pieces of information collected, the categories of recipients, correction or deletion, and non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
Send requests to team@padmi.ai. We may verify your identity before completing a request. You may use an authorized agent where local law permits. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. International transfers
Padmi and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards designed to protect information transferred across borders.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Private marketplace data is subject to authenticated ownership or administrator checks, and sensitive files use private storage. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
Padmi is designed for job seekers and professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
12. Changes
We may update this policy as Padmi evolves. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
