About the role
Interview process: 1 round video interview
Role : AI Platform Engineer
Location : 100% remote
Duration : 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension
Candidate Status Requirement: None
Summary : Client is looking for an AI Platform Engineer to primarily support Azure-based environments and develop AI solutions using existing AI reference architectures.
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of cloud platform engineering. Strongly prefer Azure but will consider AWS. (In lieu of a degree, +4 years of experience.)
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Bicep), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Experience with Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, vector databases, model gateways, or equivalent (similar technologies listed below)
LLM: Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or Amazon Bedrock
AI Development Platform: Azure AI Foundry, Vertex AI, SageMaker, or Databricks Mosaic AI
Vector Database: Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Qdrant, pgvector, or Elasticsearch
Model Gateway: LiteLLM, Portkey, Kong AI Gateway, or Azure API Management
