Application Support Developer

Required Skills -

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Access, including significant experience in the Microsoft Access Query Designer.

Working knowledge of SQL.

Working knowledge of any higher-level programming language (C#, C++, VB.Net, Java, Rust, etc.) .

Working knowledge of Excel macros and formulas to automatically generate certain kinds of data.

Job Duties -

• Implement application data for software releases

• Implement calibration and service procedure data for software releases

• Implement service tool simulation applications (i.e. Trainer)

• Apply engineering controls to implemented data, and resolve errata with workgroup Application Engineers, team lead, and/or customers.

• Develop and maintain the workgroup process documentation as required.

• Develop and maintain workgroup and/or personal process tools as required.

• Develop and maintain process tools as required (e.g. OIP Information Services).

Job Requirements -

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering

5-7 Years experience in software engineering

Desired Skills & Experience -

Experience within the embedded software domain

Experience with the software release process
